Guildhall School of Music & Drama is hiring a Social Media & Content Manager to join the Advancement division.
This role will manage, develop and promote the School’s social media channels, and manage and produce the School’s digital content, working with filmmakers and editors to produce an engaging creative output that serves audiences and reflects the School’s values and objectives. The postholder will also oversee the development and integration of relevant analytics and/or social listening tools, and use them to generate insights, working with the wider Marketing team on paid social campaigns with the School’s digital marketing agency; they will also support high level communications across social media. The postholder will be expected to provide expert knowledge to ensure Guildhall School is at the forefront in its use of social media as well as provide insight on social media trends and opportunities for future development.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing social platforms and online communities across multiple channels, ideally in an arts or higher education context. They’ll have excellent copywriting skills, experience of supporting creative digital marketing campaigns using social media and briefing and working with film makers/producers/editors to produce high quality video/audio content.
