In a bid to tackle malnutrition among students, the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) has introduced nutritious rich food to mid-day meals. The menu includes 50 ml of milk mixed with Boost daily morning and seven varieties of breakfast items like Chapati, Pulihora, Rice Pongal, Puri, Bonda, Kichdi and Idli. Apart from this, four eggs in a week are provided to students while chicken and mutton dishes are served three to four times every month. Students also get to enjoy Bagara Rice twice a week and vegetable fried rice once every week.
